(PRESS RELEASE) HONG KONG — Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (HK), a global leader in natural diamond manufacturing and sustainability innovation, concluded a landmark participation at Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong 2025, where the company was honoured with the Jewellery World Awards (JWA) 2025 in Environmental Stewardship for its contributions to Life Below Water and Life On Land. This recognition follows the company’s accolade at JWA 2024, where Hari Krishna Exports received the Jury’s Special Recognition Award for Environmental Stewardship, further underscoring its consistent leadership in sustainability and ecological restoration.

The accolade shines a spotlight on the Dholakia Foundation, HK’s philanthropic arm, for its pioneering work in ecological restoration. Through Mission River, the foundation has rejuvenated over 164 lakes and rivers, conserving more than 36 billion liters of water, improving irrigation for farmers, and reviving biodiversity across drought-prone Gujarat. Complementing this, Mission 102030 has already seen the plantation of 3.6 million trees, creating micro-habitats, carbon sinks, and thriving green corridors.

The award particularly recognised the foundation’s work in restoring freshwater ecosystems such as Bharatmata Sarovar, Kalwa River, and Saraswati River, which now support migratory species, including Painted Storks and Herons. These projects have improved agricultural productivity, reversed migration in rural communities, and offered new opportunities for over 250,000 farmers and villagers.

At the JWA ceremony, Mr. Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director of Hari Krishna Exports, along with Mr. Hasu Dholakia, from second generation, and Mr. Mukesh Dholakia, Head of H.K. Impex, Hong Kong- Distributor of Hari Krishna Exports, received the award. Mr. Rajesh Dholakia and Mr. Brijesh Dholakia were also present from the second generation at the ceremony.

“My father always said, keep two things in business: honesty and hard work. At Hari Krishna Exports, we live by that every day. From providing meals to our 9,000 family members to rejuvenating lakes and planting millions of trees, our efforts in sustainability are reflected in every diamond we craft. Because when we care for the land, happiness shines through in the final product,” said Mr. Ghanshaym Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director, Hari Krishna Exports.
