Actress Heather Locklear is wearing a new ring after reportedly getting engaged.

The groom-to-be is former AMA motocross racer Chris Heisser, who is now a contractor in Los Angeles, according to several media outlets. Locklear and Heisser, both 58, dated in high school and are believed to have reunited in 2017.

The actress was recently photographed wearing the ring while running errands in LA. PureWow talked to Kathryn Money of Brilliant Earth about the ring.

Money, the company’s senior vice president of merchandising and retail expansion, said that based on photos, the ring “features what appears to be an estimated 3 to 3.5 carat oval diamond set on a white gold or platinum diamond accented band.” She praised its “elegant simplicity.”

She estimated the cost of the ring to be $45,000 to $85,000, depending on the specifics of the center stone, according to PureWow.

When There’s No Succession Plan, Call Wilkerson

Bob Wesley, owner of Robert C. Wesley Jewelers in Scottsdale, Ariz., was a third-generation jeweler. When it was time to enjoy life on the other side of the counter, he weighed his options. His lease was nearing renewal time and with no succession plan, he decided it was time to call Wilkerson. There was plenty of inventory to sell and at first, says Wesley, he thought he might try to manage a sale himself. But he’s glad he didn’t. “There’s no way I could have done this as well as Wilkerson,” he says. Wilkerson took responsibility for the entire event, with every detail — from advertising to accounting — done, dusted and managed by the Wilkerson team. “It’s the complete package,” he says of the Wilkerson method of helping jewelers to easily go on to the next phase of their lives. “There’s no way any retailer can duplicate what they’ve done.”
