YOUR BLOG SHOULD not just be about “content for content’s sake.” It should be a magnet for real search visibility. Not just Google, but AI tools your customers are already using.
So, if you’re not writing your posts like an answer to a question, you’re probably not getting seen in ChatGPT when someone asks a jewelry-related question in your area.
Since those answers are tailored exactly to the question being asked, the person doing the asking will most likely give their business to the store that answers their question.
Start with the Question
Each blog post should answer one clear question your customer is asking, like “How much should I spend on an engagement ring?” or “What’s the difference between VS1 and VS2 diamonds?” Put that exact question as the main header, or H1, of your post.
Use a Table of Contents
Under your H1, list what the reader will learn. This helps AI understand what your article covers. It also helps real people scan and decide if your post is worth reading. It will most likely be a section before the main content that literally looks like a table of contents.
Most website builders have widgets that create the TOC for you. Just drop the widget in your blog template, and it will pull the info directly from the piece, so you don’t have to waste time.

Write a Summary
Before diving into the details, give a short summary of the answer. Think of it like a quick preview. This is often what shows up in AI-generated answers or snippets.
Structure Matters
Break your post into sections with clear headlines. Your H2s should be subtopics that support the H1. Don’t jump around. Keep a logical flow that builds on the question.
If your post is about ring settings with an H1 of “Best Ring Settings for Engagement Rings”, your H2s might be:
- What Is a Ring Setting?
- Most Popular Ring Setting Styles
- How To Choose the Right Setting for Your Lifestyle
- What To Avoid When Picking a Setting
Each one leads the reader closer to a confident decision, and AI systems pick up on that clarity.
Add an FAQ at the Bottom
Include three to five related questions and short answers. AI systems love FAQs. It signals that your content covers a wide range of customer concerns. It also gives you a chance to add more keywords naturally.
Don’t Forget the Basics
Use plain language. Don’t stuff in keywords. Keep paragraphs short. Use bullet points where it makes sense. Put the most important information at the top of the page. And make sure your site loads fast and looks good on mobile. None of this works if your site is slow or hard to navigate.
