IJO’s Jennifer Herold Promoted to Vice President

Meet Jennifer Herold the newly appointed Vice President of Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO).




(PRESS RELEASE) SOUTHPORT, CT — Jeff Roberts, owner & chairman of Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO), announced the promotion of Jennifer Herold to the newly created role of vice president. Herold, who previously served as conference director, has been recognized for her leadership, creativity, and communication skills. In his statement issued to the membership, Roberts highlighted Herold’s talents and indicated his intention to leverage her abilities across various aspects of the organization while she continues to fulfill her responsibilities as conference director.

Herold, who has been with IJO for 22 years, grew up in Greenwich, CT. She studied at Pepperdine University and the University of New Hampshire, where she achieved a degree in Communications with a minor in Business Administration. She resides in Westport, CT with her husband Marc and three sons.

“I feel very grateful to be able to continue to build on my role here at IJO after all these years”, Herold stated. “I truly love what I do in my Conference role, and being able to expand my responsibilities while continuing to do what I have always been passionate about is a wonderful opportunity. I appreciate Jeff for trusting in me to bring additional value to our IJO community. We have an exceptional membership and I truly enjoy the people in this group so much. It makes the work even that much more enjoyable and personally rewarding, and I look forward to seeing what we can continue to do together.”

Roberts added, “Jennifer brings a variety of skill sets to help her bring projects to its conclusion, as well as strong communicative skills to keep everyone focused on the end goals.”

IJO members will have the opportunity to congratulate Jennifer personally on this achievement at the upcoming conference July 13-16 at the Marriott Marquis in Chicago.
