NO VEGAS SHOWS this year? No problem. INSTORE Online Jewelry Week will bring the excitement, products, design and learning opportunities of the Vegas shows straight to your living room, office — or even back porch.
Beginning June 1, watch live interviews with your favorite jewelry companies and designers right on your own laptop, desktop, phone or tablet. An INSTORE journalist will remotely interview company representatives and get a peek at the latest styles and products you would have seen on the show floor in Las Vegas.
Each 20-minute interview will end in a Q&A session, so you’ll be able to send your questions or comments just as if you were at the show. And each day of interviews will be capped off by a live hourlong educational seminar, giving you the business-building advice everyone needs during these trying times. The lineup is still coming together, but here’s what we have so far:
- David Geller on cleaning, disinfection and take-in procedures for jewelry and repair/custom work opportunities in the age of the coronavirus
- Larry Johnson on how to display and merchandise your jewelry to maximum effect
- Bob “The Retail Doc” Phibbs on transforming the brick-and-mortar shopping experience to beat online competition
And here are just some of the companies you’ll be seeing interviewed:
- Box Brokers
- Classic of New York
- Diamond Banc
- Diamond Producers Association
- Evocateur
- GemFind
- Goldman Kolber
- Imperial Pearl
- Jewelers Mutual
- Midas Chain
- Podium
- Samuel B Collection
- Ti Sento – Milano
As with educational sessions, more exhibitors are signing on daily. Stay updated on the complete list, register for the event, see a sample interview and learn more details here: instoremag.com/ojw

Closing With Confidence: How Bailey's Fine Jewelry Achieved Outstanding Results With Wilkerson
When Trey Bailey, President and CEO of Bailey's Fine Jewelry, decided to close the Crabtree location in Raleigh, North Carolina after 15 years, he knew the decision needed to be handled with intention and professionalism. The goal was clear: exit the location while maintaining financial strength and honoring the store's legacy.
Having worked with Wilkerson successfully in the past, Bailey understood the value of their comprehensive approach. "They understood both the emotional and financial sides of the store closing sale," Trey explains. "Their reputation for professionalism, results and care made it a very easy decision."
The results exceeded expectations. Wilkerson helped Bailey's sell through significant inventory while maintaining the dignity of the closing process. "They don't just run a sale, they help close a chapter in the best way possible," Bailey says, strongly recommending Wilkerson to any jeweler facing a similar transition.
