(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) announced the release of its comprehensive guide to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance for jewelry businesses. The guide, now available on JVC’s website, offers critical insights and practical tools to help businesses in the jewelry industry ensure accessibility for all customers, as required under the ADA.

The ADA Compliance Guide is designed specifically for jewelry businesses, recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities within the trade. The guide includes an overview of ADA requirements, practical steps for compliance, and resources to help jewelers provide accessible and inclusive shopping experiences both in-store and online. It addresses key topics such as physical accessibility, website accessibility standards, and best practices for accommodating individuals with disabilities. This publication was made possible through a grant from the JCK Industry Fund. The mission of the JCK Industry Fund is to support the jewelry industry’s long-term success and growth by providing grant funding to impactful organizations with the vision and programming to drive sustainable improvements across the industry.
