To celebrate the upcoming theatrical release, Citizen presents the Marvel | Citizen limited edition Zenshin timepiece crafted with Super Titanium and inspired by “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”. Icons representing the Fantastic Four are subtly encoded on the dial, with the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock markers symbolizing each hero’s powers — Mister Fantastic’s stretching ability, Invisible Woman’s invisibility, Human Torch’s flames, and The Thing’s rocky exterior. The Marvel | Citizen limited edition inspired by Marvel Studio’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” timepiece will be available in 1,100 units at the end of July, exclusively through Citizen’s website and select retailers.
Citizen’s collaboration with the film also includes a 360-campaign that builds upon its multi-year corporate alliance with The Walt Disney Company. Infused with sleek, space-age sophistication and a clever, stylish energy, the new campaign—channeling a fantastic future—will be spearheaded by a :30 hero co-branded spot featuring Citizen’s standout Zenshin Three-hand timepiece and two product-dedicated :15s spots.
The co-branded spots will debut at a major media event in New York City on June 16th, with an OOH placement simultaneously running on the ABC Super Sign in Times Square. The marketing collaboration continues with an integrated media campaign starting on July 1, with distribution across Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, and paid social across the channels of Citizen and Marvel.
