(PRESS RELEASE) KETTERING, OH — James Free Jewelers, located in Dayton, OH, announced the grand reopening of its flagship store at 3100 Far Hills Ave. Following a remodel, the store has been redesigned to offer what the company describes as a more modern experience for its customers.
“The future of luxury retail is immersive, and deeply personal. With this redesign, we’ve created that future; a modern, exciting space where hospitality meets high craftsmanship, and every visit is an event” says Michael Karaman, president of James Free Jewelers. “It was a deliberate strategic move to deconstruct the traditional multi-brand showroom and rebuild it as a curated collection of dedicated brand boutiques.”

The project doubled the store’s footprint. James Free designed and constructed six brand-dedicated environments within the store for Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Breitling, David Yurman and Roberto Coin. The company says the investment is a direct response to consumer demand for immersive, branded retail experiences, with dedicated spaces allowing for brand storytelling and designer-specific events.

“This project represents a significant collaboration with our key brands,” Karaman says. “The remodel solved the complex puzzle of maintaining a cohesive store identity while allowing distinct brand personalities to shine.”
