(PRESS RELEASE) WARWICK, RI – The Jewelers Board of Trade® a not-for-profit organization that is a leader in credit reporting and collection services, announces the election of the following Officers and Directors to its Board at the Company’s Annual Meeting on February 12, 2025 and Board Meeting on March 19, 2025.
The Board elected the following Officers and Directors to serve a one-year term as follows:

- First Vice-Chairman: Andrew Rickard, Rochester Diamonds and Gold, Inc., Rochester, NY

JBT is pleased to announce that Jeffery R. Corey, Chairperson of the Board, H. E. Murdock Company, Inc. has been elected Chairperson. Mr. Corey was elected to the Board of Directors in 2017.
Annie Doresca of Jewelers of America and Matthijs Braakman of Retail Management Publishing, Inc. were also appointed to the JBT Executive Committee.

Smith, bringing extensive experience in corporate management, specialty retail, manufacturing, merchandising, sales, and celebrity branding. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Black in Jewelry Coalition (BIJC) was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) Foundation.

He has been the president of Rio Grande since 2020 and sits on a number of industry boards including the Responsible Jewellery Council and Jewelers For Children.
- Mr. Grant Hansen, Chief Information Security Officer, Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co., Neenah, WIMr. Hansen, an accomplished information security executive with over 25 years of experience, currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Jewelers Mutual Group. He has successfully redefined the company’s security posture by transforming the security organization through enterprise awareness, team development and technology optimizations.
