(PRESS RELEASE) NORWALK, CT – JCK announced that it has reached an agreement with the Plumb Club through 2025. The Plumb Club, a coalition of leading suppliers spanning all facets of the jewelry, diamond and watch industries, will continue its group’s branded neighborhood within the JCK show as it moves to the Venetian and Sands Expo Center in 2019 and beyond. The Plumb Club Pavilion at JCK is home to nearly 50 companies representing over 100 brands and a favorite destination for the world’s best attending retailers. “We are thrilled to continue our relationship with the Plumb Club. We have worked closely with the group’s leadership to tailor an exhibiting experience that will benefit their members and make for an elevated shopping experience to delight our retail customers and the overall JCK community,” said Yancy Weinrich, JCK’s senior vice president.

Victor Weinman, the Plumb Club Pavilion committee chairman, said, “The Plumb Club is pleased to continue its 26-year association with JCK, our industry’s premier show event organizer. Our new seven-year agreement as an anchor of the JCK Las Vegas show will allow The Plumb Club to expand on the opportunities we provide retailers to grow their businesses.”

In addition to the Plumb Club’s commitment, momentum continues as 75 percent of JCK’s entire exhibiting space at the Venetian and Sands Expo Center has been filled with 18 months to go. JCK’s newly announced Global Gemstone neighborhood has quickly gained momentum for 2019 with over 80 percent of its exhibiting booths committed. LUXURY, JCK’s high-end offering, will be presented within a curated, upscale environment that includes Prestige and the recently established Design at LUXURY. Over 80 percent of LUXURY’s 2019 exhibiting booths are accounted for to date.

“As we head into 2018, we are excited to present new programs and features that will elevate the overall show experience for our customers leading into 2019,” Weinrich said. “In addition to the thousands of new products and trends on display, the show floor has been enhanced with the addition of new neighborhoods: Estate Jewelry & Watch (collaboration with Palm Beach Show Group), JSA Security, Retail Experience and Lab-Grown Diamonds. Our enhanced matchmaking program, ‘JCK Match,’ connects buyers with exhibitors who are new to them and will now include buying incentives for retailers to make purchases with their matches. JCK Talks will present timely education topics along with new retailer roundtable discussions. Plus, dozens of events and surprises are to be announced soon.”

Time to Do What You've Always Wanted? Time to Call Wilkerson.

It was time. Teri Allen and her brother, Nick Pavlich, Jr., had been at the helm of Dearborn Jewelers of Plymouth in Plymouth, Mich., for decades. Their father, Nick Pavlich, Sr., had founded the store in 1950, but after so many wonderful years helping families around Michigan celebrate their most important moments, it was time to get some “moments” of their own. Teri says Wilkerson was the logical choice to run their retirement sale. “They’re the only company that specializes in closing jewelry stores,” she says. During the sale, Teri says a highlight was seeing so many generations of customers who wanted to buy “that one last piece of jewelry from us.” Would she recommend Wilkerson? Absolutely. “There is no way that I would have been able to do this by myself.”
