(PRESS RELEASE) PROVO, UT — Jewel360, the all-in-one, cloud-based point of sale (POS) software built to meet the needs of modern jewelry retailers, announced that it is working with Luxsurance to bring Jewelers Mutual jewelry insurance coverage options directly to consumers through the retailer’s store branded app.
The new integration, available to all Jewel360 customers, allows retailers to send a customer’s documents and transactional information digitally with their consent, including the jewelry image and receipt of purchase, to the Luxsurance app. While the customer is at the store, they agree to receiving a text and the LUX Digital Vault app is downloaded quickly thereafter. The customer is able to easily manage their purchases within the app and insure their items on the spot. The customizable, store-branded Luxsurance app is no cost for jewelers to offer or for their customers to use.
“Jewelry insurance is essential for giving consumers peace of mind about their valuables, offering a reliable way to safeguard their assets against potential risks such as loss, theft, or damage,” said Nick Gurney, General Manager of Jewel360. “This new relationship with Luxsurance powered by Jewelers Mutual is a win-win for retailers and consumers as this platform creates a frictionless insurance buying experience and digital catalogue inside the store branded app.”
“Jewelry is precious and sentimental, so giving consumers an easy platform to protect their valuables is core to our mission,” said Mike Alexander, Chief Operating Officer at Jewelers Mutual. “This collaboration with Jewel360 allows consumers to quickly and seamlessly insure their new purchases through Luxsurance, leaving them worry-free when wearing their covered pieces.”
