When the owner of Bove Jewelers in Kennett Square, PA, chose to close the business, the store’s general manager, Bob Strehlau, still felt it had lots of potential.

He bought it from George Reinas and reopened nearly a year ago, the Chester County Press reports. And things have gone so well that he’s now expanding to a second location.

Bove Jewelers will open a store in West Chester this weekend.

“We have all of the same merchandise in all categories at both stores, but at the West Chester store, it is shown in smaller, boutique-like sizes,” said Strehlau, who is a fifth-generation jeweler.

The new store is in the former location of Wright’s Jewelers.
