Jewelers of America Accepting Entries for 2024 CASE Awards

The CASE Awards honor JA Members who exhibit creativity, artistry, style and excellence in jewelry design.

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, is accepting entries for CASE Awards, its national jewelry design competition. The CASE Awards honor JA Members who exhibit creativity, artistry, style and excellence in jewelry design. The CASE Awards competition is open to all employees of JA Member retailers and suppliers. Employees of JA Member companies can enter through July 17, 2024.

“The CASE Awards serves as a platform for our members to showcase its creativity and craftsmanship by submitting original jewelry designs for evaluation and the chance to win national recognition. CASE Awards recognizes talent, promotes innovation, provides exposure, and highlights jewelry that consumers can find at its local JA Member store,” says Jewelers of America director of PR & Events Amanda Gizzi.

Winners will be awarded in ten categories. The categories are as follows: Retail Members: Jewelry up to $2,000 retail value; Supplier Members: Jewelry up to $2,000 retail value; Retail Members: Jewelry $2,001 to $5,000 retail value; Supplier Members: Jewelry $2,001 to $5,000 retail value; Retail Members: Jewelry $5,001 to $10,000 retail value; Supplier Members: Jewelry $5,001 to $10,000 retail value; Retail Members: Jewelry $10,001 to $50,000 retail value; and Supplier Members: Jewelry $10,001 to $50,000 retail value. Judges will also select two pieces as “Best in Show” – one for retailers, and one for suppliers. JA Members can enter a maximum of 4 pieces in the competition, one per category.

This year’s CASE Awards judging process will consist of two parts: a virtual pre-judging period for all submissions, and an in-person judging period for the finalists. Winners will be selected by a panel of experts who will evaluate all entries based on overall design, marketability, wearability and quality of manufacture. All winners will receive a customized CASE Awards trophy and national trade and consumer media exposure. Jewelers of America will promote all entrants through a social media and a digital marketing campaign adding extra exposure for the CASE Award entrants.
