Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, is now accepting entries for the 2026 CASE Awards, its national jewelry design competition. The CASE Awards honor designers who exhibit Creativity, Artistry, Style and Excellence in jewelry design. The competition is open to all employees of JA Member retailers and suppliers and MJSA Members, with entries accepted from Feb. 9 through March 20, 2026.

“The CASE Awards are one of the most meaningful ways we celebrate the artistry and design excellence coming from within our membership,” says Amanda Gizzi, senior vice president of corporate affairs, Jewelers of America. “Now that MJSA is part of the JA family, we’re proud to welcome MJSA Members into the competition and broaden the spotlight on the incredible talent across our unified organization.”

The competition categories are divided into Retail Member and Supplier Member subsets, with pricing tiers based on retail value: Jewelry up to $5,000; $5,001 to $10,000; $10,001 to $20,000; and $20,001 to $75,000.

All entries will go through a two-part judging process beginning with a virtual pre-judging round. Finalists will then be invited to submit physical pieces for the final evaluation. Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts who will assess overall design, marketability, wearability, and quality of manufacture. Winners will be selected in each of the pricing categories, and two pieces will receive the honor of Best in Show — one from a retailer and one from a supplier.

Winners will receive a customized trophy as well as trade and consumer media exposure, according to JA. The organization says winners will also benefit from promotional opportunities including a social media and digital marketing campaign highlighting all entries.

The CASE Awards – sponsored by Synchrony – is open exclusively to employees of JA Member companies and MJSA Members.
