(PRESS RELEASE) HONG KONG – The ninth edition of the JNA Awards announced its highly anticipated list of honorees across seven award categories at a webcast on June 29 followed by an online panel discussion featuring industry thought leaders. The awards’ first-ever virtual event was well-attended by international jewelers.

A renowned awards program organized by Informa Markets since 2012, the JNA Awards promotes sustainable advancement within the industry by recognizing individuals and companies that have demonstrated excellence, innovation and best business practices – irrespective of the size and scale of their operations, fields of expertise and the geographical regions they serve.

In the last few weeks, the judges diligently assessed entries from 11 countries and regions across five continents, selecting 32 shortlisted honorees out of a highly qualified pool of nominees. While Industry Innovation of the Year continues to be the most popular category, the Awards saw a spike in the number of entries for Sustainability Initiative of the Year – further underlining the jewelry community’s commitment to the values of innovation and sustainability as drivers for positive change.

Wilkerson Testimonials

When Liquidation Is the Best Option, This Legendary Jeweler Chose Wilkerson

George Koueiter & Sons Jewelers, a 65-year old jewelry institution in Grosse Pointe, MI, had always been a mainstay in this suburban Detroit community. But when owners George and Paul Koueiter were ready to retire, they made the decision to close rather than sell. “We decided our best option to do the liquidation sale was Wilkerson,” says Paul Koueiter. The results, says George Koueiter, exceeded expectations and the process was easy. “Wilkerson just kept us in mind,” says George. “They never did anything without asking and whatever they asked us to do was just spot on.”
