WE CAN TALK about Jodie Turner-Smith’s Gucci High Jewelry emerald and diamond necklace worn to the premiere of the Netflix Film White Noise (in which she stars), or the Bulgari diamond choker she wore, or any one of the looks she wore during the 2022 International Venice Film Festival, and it will put her on our best bejeweled list from the event. She looked stunning and ultra-cool at the same time.

But the jewelry look that stood out the most for me (with many A-list actresses turning on the sparkle and shine) was the one she arrived wearing, stepping off the boat in Venice. She looked breezy and chic in an ombre chiffon pantsuit in hues that went from peachy pink to lightly burnt orange, to mellow yellow to cream. She carried two Gucci bags but her necklaces layered and graduated was a look of daytime perfection and hit on all of the trends we are seeing now. (This will be slide three through slide five below, when you swipe left).

The graduation of layers started with a diamond chunky curb chain choker, a more delicate ID plate necklace with the rectangular plate worn to the side, and what seemed like an omega chain and either a vintage ’70s-’80s (or vintage-inspired) curb chain. The look was pure gold (yes, pun intended)!

The actress, who stars in White Noise, directed by Noah Baumbach, with Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig, was also wearing two oval cabochon rings on her fingers. The jewels she wore with her gowns were beautiful as well, from the Bulgari diamond choker with a colorful Christopher John Rogers gown and a Balmain powder blue gown to the emerald-and-diamond Gucci High Jewelry necklace she wore with a sheer black Gucci gown. She also wore a Bulgari diamond necklace to complement a royal blue gown and a pair of Fernando Jorge earrings on the opening day of the festival, among other bold statement necklaces, diamond rings and bracelets.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
