The sighting: The glorious Ariana Madix, host of Love Island USA, is a fan favorite for both her impeccable poise and extraordinary outfits. She usually sticks to over-the-top gowns and two-piece sets with minimal jewelry, but the actress showed up for Episode 27 of the recently completed Season 7 in a jaw-dropping statement necklace that we simply must discuss!
The jewels: Madix wore Ramy Brook’s Millie Multicolor Stone Layered Necklace in brass with CZ and Preciosa crystal. It’s a wonderfully dramatic style and a true statement necklace, with three large chain layers each suspending colorful bezel-set crystals and CZs.

The trends: The early 2000s are majorly trending for both clothes and jewelry, but the statement necklace craze of the early aughts has yet to return in force. Is this an early sign that it’s on its way? I think it might be.
What do we think? Like every other Love Island USA fan in the universe, I love seeing what wild outfits Madix will wear when she waltzes into the Villa, but this is the first time that her outfit included a piece of jewelry that I was immediately desperate to know more about. The drama and the silhouette are so good with her low-cut minidress, while all those shimmering bezel-set crystals and CZ make the piece feel like a wearable party.
I do, of course, wish she’d thrown on a pair of earrings — maybe mismatched studs that match those colorful crystals? But the whole look was so high octane that it barely needed them.
Such a fun jewelry moment, and absolutely perfect for a Love Island appearance. I’d wear this exact necklace in a heartbeat.
Judgement: 36/10 because this necklace was the best bombshell of the whole season.
