The sighting: Beyonce posted a series of extremely glam BTS dressing room shots on her Instagram and Queen Bey’s beauty and charisma weren’t the only things stealing the scene. We have an extremely major pair of statement earrings to discuss.

The jewels: The brand who created these beauties claimed them instantly, so we know we’re admiring The House of Emmanuele’s Dynasty Serpentine earrings. These megawatt crystal beauties each feature a long line of rectangular stones. Some are aligned vertically while others are horizontal, creating a striking, graduated single file line of sparkle.

The trends: Beyoncé’s earrings are a fascinating mix of statement and restraint. Yes, they’re enormous, but the actual design is almost understated in its simplicity. The combination is powerful and radiates confidence. This would be an incredible look for holiday parties if anyone but Beyoncé could find the courage to try it.

We’ve seen a few celebs opt for demi-fine earrings on red carpets lately – Oliva Rodrigo’s big pink butterflies from the MTV VMAs come to mind. It’s a playful choice that puts the impact of the overall look before the luxury of individual materials.

What do we think? Queen Bey could certainly have diamonds if she wanted them, but a change in material would probably make these super-statement earrings painfully heavy. An ideal moment for demi-fine, worn to perfection by the one and only Beyonce.

Judgement: 12/10 for OTT in the best way

Retiring? Let Wilkerson Do the Heavy Lifting

Retirement can be a great part of life. As Nanji Singadia puts it, “I want to retire and enjoy my life. I’m 78 now and I just want to take a break.” That said, Nanji decided that the best way to move ahead was to contact the experts at Wilkerson. He chose them because he knew that closing a store is a heavy lift. To maximize sales and move on to the next, best chapter of his life, he called Wilkerson—but not before asking his industry friends for their opinion. He found that Wilkerson was the company most recommended and says their professionalism, experience and the homework they did before the launch all helped to make his going out of business sale a success. “Wilkerson were working on the sale a month it took place,” he says. “They did a great job.”
