The sighting: Gentle reader, did you see Charithra Chandran, also known as Bridgerton’s Edwina Sharma, on the cover of Teen Vogue? Because it’s truly a moment that deserves to be the talk of The Ton…especially the jewelry.

The jewels: Charithra Chandran is wearing a whole lot of jewelry here and I’m determined to credit all of it! Are you ready? We’re going top to bottom and left to right.

On her ears, the actress is wearing L’Enchanteur’s sculptural Baby Hare earrings, which were also recently spotted on Meghan Thee Stallion at the Grammys.

On her left arm, Chandran is wearing an armband by Pebble London, an ornate cuff by Pebble London, bangles by Alighieri and Maison Mayle, and another ornate cuff by Pebble London. On her right arm, she is wearing an armband by Pebble London, a cuff by Alighieri, and a bangle by Rainbow Unicorn Birthday Surprise.

Chandran’s rings are by Georgina Trevino, Carole Tanenbaum Vintage, and Pamela Love.

What do we think? This is such an incredibly cool assortment of jewelry. The textures, the colors, the silhouettes – there are so many different styles here, but the combination just sings. It’s an exquisitely thought-out moment of jewelry styling.

When Chandran shared this photoshoot on her Instagram, she called this feature her “ode to the Indian diaspora.” Several elements of this look (like the amount of gold, the mixing of textures, and the placement and abundance of bangles) feel like a reference to traditional Indian jewelry styles, but Chandran is wearing contemporary and vintage jewelry designed by artists from all over the world. It’s a styling choice that reflects the importance of the Scotland-born actress’s South Asian heritage without pigeonholing or limiting her.

In other words, it’s a moment as meaningful as it is gorgeous.

Judgement: 20/10 for inspired and thoughtful styling

When There’s No Succession Plan, Call Wilkerson

Bob Wesley, owner of Robert C. Wesley Jewelers in Scottsdale, Ariz., was a third-generation jeweler. When it was time to enjoy life on the other side of the counter, he weighed his options. His lease was nearing renewal time and with no succession plan, he decided it was time to call Wilkerson. There was plenty of inventory to sell and at first, says Wesley, he thought he might try to manage a sale himself. But he’s glad he didn’t. “There’s no way I could have done this as well as Wilkerson,” he says. Wilkerson took responsibility for the entire event, with every detail — from advertising to accounting — done, dusted and managed by the Wilkerson team. “It’s the complete package,” he says of the Wilkerson method of helping jewelers to easily go on to the next phase of their lives. “There’s no way any retailer can duplicate what they’ve done.”
