The sighting: Newlywed actress Christina Hendricks recently enjoyed her honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. One of the Instagram snaps Hendricks shared of her tropical vacation featured a glorious pair of Grainne Morton earrings.

The jewels: Christina Hendricks is wearing Grainne Morton’s Multilayer Balance Victorian Drop Earrings, which feature a dangling arrangement of “tiny mismatched treasures” in shades of peachy-pink to pearlescent white.

The same (or at least a very similar) pair of earrings is currently for sale on Grainne Morton’s website for $1,283, with the materials listed as ethically sourced 18k gold-plated silver, antique button, cameo, chalcedony, coral, moonstone, mother of pearl, opal, pearl, rainbow moonstone, rose quartz, shell and vintage glass.

The trends: Statement earrings are continuing to be very popular! I love to see it.

What do we think? What’s not to love? I am personally a big fan of Grainne Morton’s work, and I think these earrings are a fantastic example of what the designer does best. The colors in this pair are utterly perfect with both Hendricks’ own coloring and the pink flowers on her dress, and I love the sense of movement these beauties would offer in a seaside breeze.

Normally I’d be asking “why no necklace?” but I actually think that that these earrings, combined with the actress’s wavy red hair and detailed dress, are just the right amount of adornment.

It looks to me like Christina Hendricks shares my feelings on what makes the best kind of summer outfit: a pretty dress and a great pair of statement earrings.

Judgement: 14/10 for a jewelry choice I’d happily replicate any day.

Four Decades of Excellence: How Wilkerson Transformed a Jeweler's Retirement into Celebration

After 45 years serving the Milwaukee community, Treiber & Straub Jewelers owner Michael Straub faced a significant life transition. At 75, the veteran jeweler made a personal decision many business owners understand: "I think it's time. I want to enjoy my wife with my grandchildren for the next 10, 15 years." Wilkerson's expertise transformed this major business transition into an extraordinary success. Their comprehensive approach to managing the going-out-of-business sale created unprecedented customer response—with lines forming outside the store and limits on how many shoppers could enter at once due to fire safety regulations. The results exceeded all expectations. "Wilkerson did a phenomenal job," Straub enthuses. "They were there for you through the whole thing, helped you with promoting it, helping you on day-to-day business. I can't speak enough for how well they did." The partnership didn't just facilitate a business closing; it created a celebratory finale to decades of service while allowing Straub to confidently step into his well-earned retirement.
