The sighting: Danish actress Connie Nielsen attended the 2025 Oscars in an ethereal blush pink gown and a show-stoppingly gorgeous jaw-dropper of an emerald necklace.

The jewels: Nielsen wore a vintage emerald necklace from Joseph Saidian & Sons. It featured 59.56 carts of certified Colombian emeralds set in 18K white gold with diamonds. The emerald drops were removable, so it was as versatile as it was gorgeous.

Pardon me while I swoon.

Nielsen paired the necklace with 18K white gold and diamond earrings by Ruchi and an 18K white gold and diamond ring by Kallati.
I also saw what looked like a white gold and diamond bracelet, but I couldn’t find any information about it.

The trends: The Oscars show had a lot of fun jewelry this year, but it was almost all white diamonds, which got a little boring. Emeralds are a trendy colored gem in general, but they were the outlier rather than the rule on this awards season’s red carpets (although Lindsay Lohan also wore an emerald necklace with a light-colored dress to an afterparty).

What do we think? This is vintage glamour at its finest and I am here for it!

I have only one complaint, and it’s not the jewelry’s fault: I wish the dress had been a bolder pink rather than this delicate blush. The emerald necklace still looked incredible, but it would have popped even more if worn in contrast with a more color-saturated gown.

Judgement: 100/10 because this necklace can do no wrong. Give it to me and I’ll wear it with a dress that’s a better color.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
