The sighting: Actress Dakota Johnson attended the opening of the 2025 Red Sea International Film Festival in a sleek Alessandra Rich gown and some truly jaw-dropping jewelry. Let’s discuss!

The jewels: Dakota Johnson is a Chopard ambassador and Chopard was a support partner of the Red Sea International Film Festival, so the actress did, of course, wear Chopard.

According to Only Natural Diamonds, the necklace was from Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie collection and featured 37.49 carats of round-shaped diamonds, 30.78 carats of pear-shaped diamonds, 11.76 carats of oval-shaped diamonds, and 1.01 carats of emerald-cut diamonds. The earrings feature 4.18 carats of pear-cut diamonds, 3.80 carats of round-cut diamonds, 1.84 carats of oval-cut diamonds, and 1.60 carats of emerald-cut diamonds.

It’s difficult to see in photos, but Johnson also wore a Chopard ring with a 0.65-carat emerald-cut diamond, 1.21 carats of round-shaped diamonds, 0.89 carats of pear and oval-shaped diamonds.

The trends: The main trend here is white gold, and Johnson certainly is making the metal look very good. We also have elongated diamond cuts, chandelier earrings, and necklaces with multiple layers.

What do we think? THIS!!! NECKLACE!!!!

It’s so pretty that I would love it in any context, but it really does look fantastic on Johnson – it’s perfectly set off by her dark, dramatic bangs and sculptural neckline. She looks like she’s wearing a constellation of delicate shooting stars frozen in motion and tied with a dainty diamond ribbon.

I am also delighted that Johnson and her stylist, Kate Young, were brave enough to add the earrings to this look. The earrings feel understated next to the necklace, especially as were partly hidden in the actress’s hair, but their presence really adds a whole new dimension of glamour.

Judgement: 1,000/10 for a necklace I will be seeing in my dreams

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
