The sighting: Decorated athlete and American national treasure Simone Biles has already earned three more gold medals at the 2024 Olympics, but it is a different piece of the athlete’s neckwear that caught my attention. Biles – nicknamed the “GOAT, for “greatest of all time” – flashed a new diamond goat pendant while posing for photographers with her Olympic gold in Paris.

The jewels: Simone Biles’ diamond goat pendant is a custom piece made for her by Janet Heller Fine Jewelry of Calabasas, CA.

The handcrafted bespoke design is a meticulously detailed, completely three-dimensional white gold goat pendant that sparkles with 546 diamonds.

Do you see his little horns and tiny goat beard? You can tell a lot of skill and thought went into this little goat-y beauty.

Biles also owns a second custom necklace from Janet Heller Fine Jewelry, a diamond necklace with a motif of the Olympic rings. I love when you can tell that a celebrity has developed a relationship with a particular jewelry store.

The retailer says on their Instagram: “Each piece, crafted by Janet Heller Fine Jewelry, is a testament to the enduring legacy of a true champion. As the Paris 2024 Olympics unfold, all eyes are on Simone Biles – the GOAT both on and off the mat.”

The trends: Biles is a strong, powerful, stylish Olympic veteran, one of the best-known and highest-profile athletes in history, and she just flashed this necklace repeatedly in the photos that documented her triumph on a global stage.

In other words: Don’t be shocked if a customer asks you about goat jewelry in the near future.

What do we think? When I saw a TikTok clip of Biles grinning and holding up this necklace next to her gold medal, I shrieked out loud in my kitchen. It’s so clever and funny and I absolutely love what a statement it makes about the beauty of owning your own accomplishments with confidence.

Women are so often expected to downplay their achievements and be unnecessarily humble, and seeing Biles grinning with her diamond goat and her gold medal makes me want to cheer like I did at the beginning of the Barbie movie when all of the women at the imaginary awards show accepted their accolades by saying, “I worked really hard for this and I deserve it.”

You are the GOAT, Simone Biles, and I’m so glad you’re celebrating that fact with jewelry.

Judgement: 30 world championships and 10 Olympic medals out of 10 for this epic jewelry moment.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
