The sighting: Actress Jennifer Lawrence recently walked the red carpet for her project Die My Love at the 2025 BFI London Film Festival in a sleek black Giorgio Armani Privé gown – but it was her diamond necklace that made my jaw drop.

The jewels: Jennifer Lawrence wore a spectacular gold and diamond statement necklace by Glenn Spiro.

According to the designer’s Instagram, the piece is designed as a hammered gold torque collar suspending a pendant made of seven large brilliant cut diamonds flanked by round gold beads and capped off with an oblong gold bauble.

The effect is dramatic in the best way, a textural and sculptural feast for the eyes.

The actress finished the look with what looks like a pair of simple diamond drop earrings and a gold ring.

The trends: Torques are hot at the moment and so this kind of 60’s/70’s abstract sculptural glam! The overall shape also echoes the lariat/bolo tie silhouette that Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter era outfits ushered into extreme prominence within the past couple of years.

What do we think? This is extremely cool. The simple dress and bold, textured necklace are sophisticated, impactful, interesting and irresistible. I’m desperate to touch the pendant of this necklace and find out what those gold beads feel like.

This specific piece will be out of budget for almost all customers, but the look itself – a torque with a long, dramatic pendant – is very easy to translate into more affordable price points. I see high trend potential here.

Judgement: 12/10 for a very very cool look.

Wilkerson Testimonials

Cleaning House for a New Generation

At Komara Jewelers in Canfield, Ohio, Wilkerson handled all the aspects of its retirement sale just as owner Bob Komara’s children took over day-to-day operations of the business. They’d used other companies before, says Brianna Komara-Pridon, but they didn’t compare. “If we had used Wilkerson then, it would have been so much better.”
