The sighting: Singer and actress Lady Gaga went for gothic glamour at the 2025 Grammys, choosing a dramatic black gown by emerging designer Samuel Lewis. She accessorized her look with an incredible Tiffany & Co. archival necklace – one that we’ve never seen until now.

The jewels: According to Town & Country, Lady Gaga’s Tiffany & Co. necklace is gold with pearls, black onyx, and a large pale green tourmaline. The piece was made around 1930-1933 and has never been worn in public before.

The necklace’s age isn’t its only historical significance: it was designed by Meta Overbeck under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany, son of the founder of the house. Overbeck was one of many woman artists in Tiffany’s studios at the time, and, according to the same Town & Country article, her work served an important purpose for the brand, as her work “takes the trademark Art Nouveau style with its flourishes and flora and brings it slowly into the modern style of Art Deco, without sacrificing what had become a Tiffany & Co. trademark.”

The trends: This piece is too remarkable to fit many trends, but it does check the popular style boxes of green gems, necklaces for formal events, and choosing jewels based on their backstories as well as their appearance.

What do we think? A never-before-seen archival Tiffany & Co. jewel from the 1930’s that was designed by a woman?? If Lady Gaga chose this piece specifically to delight me, she did a great job.

I love this remarkable necklace and I appreciate that Lady Gaga didn’t shy away from adding an elaborate piece of jewelry on top of an elaborate gown – although it was easier to see the details of the jewel later in the evening, after a costume change left the singer’s clavicle bare.

More noteworthy historical jewelry on red carpets, please!!

Judgement: 15/10 for a terrific T&Co treasure.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
