The sighting: Actress Mikey Madison, who took home the Oscar for Best Actress, wore some truly wonderful Tiffany & Co. jewels while accepting her golden statue. Let’s discuss!

The jewels: Madison’s jewelry was by Tiffany & Co. She wore a Tiffany archive necklace, circa 1909-1919, with diamonds in platinum-iridium. It was pure early 20th century magic, full of the type of light-as-air detailing that we all love so much in Edwardian and Belle Epoque era jewelry.

She was also wearing a platinum Tiffany High Jewelry bracelet with 135 diamonds (17-plus carats) and two additional platinum rings, one with more than 9 carats of diamonds and one with a pink tourmaline of more than 6 carats.

If you scroll though the slides of the Instagram embed below, you can see nice close views of these gorgeous pieces shared by Tiffany.

The trends: Diamond necklaces have been the reigning trend of this awards season so far, with quite a few gorgeous vintage and antique pieces showing up, too! This look is right on trend, just the way an Oscar winner’s look should be.

What do we think? This necklace is a perfect object. There’s absolutely nothing I would change about it.

I even like it with the dress! I think it would have been too sugary sweet with a more princessy gown, but the Audrey Hepburn-style 1960s mod glam of her ensemble is the perfect balance for the necklace’s delicate prettiness.

I also enjoy the bracelet and rings, but the necklace is the clear star of the show. And she’s even wearing earrings! Please note how good it looks to have that extra bit of sparkle instead of a bare lobe.

Judgement: 200/10 for pure perfect prettiness.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
