Judge The Jewels: Pete Davidson’s Colorfully Chaotic NYE Necklaces

The sighting: Comedian Pete Davidson teamed up with popstar Miley Cyrus to welcome 2022 with a glitzy televised New Year’s Eve celebration. There was banter, music, awkward crowd work and a major wardrobe malfunction … but our eyes stayed on Pete Davidson’s jewelry.

The jewels: Davidson’s NYE looks involved a rotating selection of jewelry, anchored by a piece he wore in almost every shot: a Mia Vesper necklace with a rainbow of round and teardrop-shaped glass stones.

At other points during the telecast, Davidson layered the rainbow Mia Vesper with colorful beaded necklaces by Ian Charms and Isaiah Garza or additional Mia Vesper necklaces of a similar style in different colorways, but my favorite look was when he paired the rainbow Mia Vesper with a diamond line necklace from De Beers.

The trends: Is Pete Davidson a trendsetter? Well, there were multiple points on NYE when I thought to myself, “I think I want Pete Davidson’s necklace,” so there answer here is yes. It’s easy to love colorful silly beads and rainbow crystals accentuated with a sprinkling of diamonds, especially when styled with the comedian’s self-effacing panache.

What do we think? Pete Davidson wears jewelry with the air of a racoon who is mildly pleased that it found something sparkly while dumpster diving. That doesn’t sound like a compliment, but I actually do mean it as one. This is a look he’s mastered and it truly works for him.

Judgement: 13/10 for a celeb who understands his brand and accessorizes it perfectly.

Four Decades of Excellence: How Wilkerson Transformed a Jeweler's Retirement into Celebration

After 45 years serving the Milwaukee community, Treiber & Straub Jewelers owner Michael Straub faced a significant life transition. At 75, the veteran jeweler made a personal decision many business owners understand: "I think it's time. I want to enjoy my wife with my grandchildren for the next 10, 15 years." Wilkerson's expertise transformed this major business transition into an extraordinary success. Their comprehensive approach to managing the going-out-of-business sale created unprecedented customer response—with lines forming outside the store and limits on how many shoppers could enter at once due to fire safety regulations. The results exceeded all expectations. "Wilkerson did a phenomenal job," Straub enthuses. "They were there for you through the whole thing, helped you with promoting it, helping you on day-to-day business. I can't speak enough for how well they did." The partnership didn't just facilitate a business closing; it created a celebratory finale to decades of service while allowing Straub to confidently step into his well-earned retirement.
