The sighting: Rapper Polo G has revealed a truly head-turning new piece of jewelry: a necklace that displays a real iPhone, which plays the rapper’s music videos from his chest while he wears it. We absolutely must discuss.

The jewels: This extremely substantial piece of custom jewelry was created for Polo G by Icebox, an Atlanta, GA jeweler. Icebox has proclaimed the piece to be the world’s first iPhone chain.

The pendant takes the shape of an enormous standing bulldog holding an iPhone between its front paws. The piece is covered in pavé diamonds with red enamel details forming the letter B on the dog’s paws. The chain is a series of connected letter B’s, each detailed in red enamel and encrusted with further diamonds.

The pendant weighs over half a kilogram and features more than 90 carats of VS diamonds, while the chain adds 400+ grams and another 60 carats of diamonds (that’s around two lbs and 150 cts of diamonds!). The B motif is inspired by the Boston Red Sox logo, but it’s also a tribute to Polo G’s childhood best friend, BMoney 1300, who died due to gun violence in 2021.

Online sources speculate the chain’s value to be in the $300,000-$400,000 range, but Icebox has refused to confirm beyond stating that the piece is “well in the six-figure range.”

Icebox told iHeartRadio that they spent several extra months designing the piece to ensure that the phone would be fully functional while in the pendant. There’s an opening on the side of the pendant that allows the iPhone to be charged, as well as hidden catches that allow the rapper to swap out the device inside.

The trends: Tech jewelry is hot! But let’s be real, this type of design is so over the top that it’s hardly relevant to everyday consumers. Even if someone could afford it, they’re not going to want to wear a two-pound necklace.

What do we think? In terms of innovation and pure swag, this is exactly the kind of wildly over the top creation that I love seeing on rappers. It’s enormous and creative and eye-catching and clever. I find it hilariously perfect that the rapper plays his own music videos on the device while it’s displayed on his chest. Images of the chain immediately went viral, like they were intended to do. It scored Polo G a lot of attention and got his fans talking.

Stylistically, it’s not really my cup of tea. I wouldn’t wear this chain. But it’s not for me – it’s for Polo G. And I love it for him.

Judgement: 13/10 for a truly jaw-dropping custom moment

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
