The sighting: Actress Sadie Sink rocked some gorgeous antique jewelry at the recent Broadway opening of her new play, John Proctor is the Villian. Let’s take a look!

The jewels: Sadie Sink is wearing two pieces of 19th century antique jewelry from Fred Leighton. According to Instagrammer WWWJewels, the heart is a Victorian era pendant featuring rose cut diamonds and black enamel and the ring is a collet-set diamond solitaire with a silver setting on a yellow gold shank from the same time period.

John Proctor is the Villian is based on The Crucible, which was a play written in the 1950’s and set in the late 1600’s. Antique jewelry feels thematically appropriate, even if the era that these specific jewels come from (the Victorian 1800’s) isn’t directly relevant.

The trends: There’s a lot of 90’s influence in this look: it’s very Whimsigoth, with the black enamel heart on the black silk ribbon paired with the vaguely Renaissance fair black-on-black gown and Sink’s flowing, wavy hair.

What do we think? This is fantastic. The severe, slightly costumey-feeling gown paired with real antique jewelry – especially the gothic romance of the heart on the black silk ribbon – truly nails the dark, fascinating mood of the Salem Witch trials that were the original inspiration of this play’s story.

I love that Sink’s stylist went in this direction instead of dressing her in a high school inspired outfit to reference the immediate time period of John Proctor is the Villian. This direction is more fun and also helps this very young actress look glamorous and serious in an age-appropriate way.

Judgement: 13/10 for this wonderful witchiness

Closing With Confidence: How Bailey's Fine Jewelry Achieved Outstanding Results With Wilkerson

When Trey Bailey, President and CEO of Bailey's Fine Jewelry, decided to close the Crabtree location in Raleigh, North Carolina after 15 years, he knew the decision needed to be handled with intention and professionalism. The goal was clear: exit the location while maintaining financial strength and honoring the store's legacy. Having worked with Wilkerson successfully in the past, Bailey understood the value of their comprehensive approach. "They understood both the emotional and financial sides of the store closing sale," Trey explains. "Their reputation for professionalism, results and care made it a very easy decision." The results exceeded expectations. Wilkerson helped Bailey's sell through significant inventory while maintaining the dignity of the closing process. "They don't just run a sale, they help close a chapter in the best way possible," Bailey says, strongly recommending Wilkerson to any jeweler facing a similar transition.
