The sighting: Actress and singer Selena Gomez walked the red carpet for the premiere of her documentary, My Mind and Me, wearing a flowing Rodarte gown and an array of colorful gemstone jewelry.

The jewels: Gomez is rocking David Webb earrings and a substantial statement ring by the same designer.

The earrings are Webb’s Streamer earrings, with sapphire, peridot, citrine, amethyst, and diamonds in platinum and 18K yellow gold. The earrings are listed on the designer’s website for $215,000. The ring is a cocktail-style stunner, with a large, faceted kunzite in 18K yellow gold.

The trends: The most prominent trend here is one of my personal favorites: Dopamine Dressing! Also known as the wearing of many bright colors together because it makes you happy. Delightful and perfect for the occasion.

What do we think? I think this joyful color combination was a particular poignant choice given the serious subject matter of Gomez’s documentary, which focuses on the signer’s mental health journey. Showing up to the premiere in a vivid gown and a waterfall of colorful gems feels triumphant and optimistic. I’m fully here for it.

Also: I love seeing David Webb on red carpets. It’s serious jewelry, but still flamboyant enough to be fun.

Judgement: 14/10 for happy colors!

Windsor Jewelers: Building for Tomorrow with Wilkerson

After 43 years in the jewelry industry, Windsor Jewelers' President Rob Simon knows the value of trusted partnerships. When planning a store expansion in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he turned to Wilkerson to transform existing inventory into construction capital. "There have been very few companies I've dealt with that I totally trust," Simon shares. "Wilkerson understands their success is 100% based on your success." The partnership enabled Windsor to fund new showcases and construction while maintaining their position as their community's premier jeweler. For Simon, the choice was clear: "Over the years, I've been abused in every direction there is by different people in this industry, so I know what to avoid. One company not to avoid is Wilkerson."
