JVC to Honor Rebecca Foerster of Hearts On Fire With its Stanley Schechter Award

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) has announced that it will bestow its Stanley Schechter Award to Rebecca Foerster, President of Hearts on Fire, North America, at its annual luncheon on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Rainbow Room in New York City.

Rebecca Foerster is the President of Hearts on Fire North America, where she oversees the brand’s operations in Boston, Massachusetts and leads all regional functions across North America. A seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in the luxury sector, Rebecca brings a dynamic blend of merchandising, marketing, and operational expertise to her role, along with an exceptional understanding of the U.S. jewelry market. Prior to joining Hearts On Fire, Rebecca held senior leadership positions at some of the industry’s most respected names, including President of Alrosa USA, and roles with Rio Tinto Diamonds, Frederick Goldman, and Leo Schachter Diamonds. Her career began in cosmetics and global branding, where she developed a sharp instinct for consumer engagement and brand storytelling that continues to inform her work in fine jewelry.

In addition to her role at Hearts On Fire, Rebecca is active in many industry associations and is currently on the board of directors for Jewelers for Children, is a member of the Executive Committee of Diamonds Do Good at which she also serves as a natural diamonds ambassador, and is the recent past chair of the Board at JVC.

Founder of Honora Industries, Stanley was a jewelry industry icon. In addition to his extraordinary work in the pearl sector, Stanley is well-known for his 50+ years of dedication to maintaining ethics and integrity in this industry. Stanley was a lifetime member of the JVC and a member of the JVC Board from the 1960s to 2000. JVC proudly established the Stanley Schechter Award in 2002 to honor Stanley and remember his legacy and important contributions to the JVC. Recipients of the Stanley Schechter Award embody Stanley’s characteristics and values: leadership, integrity, and passion for elevating the jewelry community’s reputation in the US and worldwide.
