(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — LAGOS, the fine jewelry brand, announces the promotion of Jamie Hector from Public Relations Director to Vice President of Public Relations.

Hector joined LAGOS in 2017 to develop a strategic multi-year PR plan, designed to build awareness and create excitement for the iconic brand. Reporting to Chief Digital Officer Amanda Willinger, Hector will be responsible for overseeing all public relations activities, and growing the department to meet the team’s needs.

“Jamie has made an immeasurable impact raising awareness and esteem for LAGOS over the past five years. She is a dynamic and strategic leader with great vision for how to propel the brand forward,” said Willinger.

Hector joins Isabelle Scarchilli, chief marketing officer, Amanda Willinger, chief digital officer and Diana Nichols, vice president of sales, to round out a strong, women-led team of executives.

This change comes as LAGOS celebrates its 45th anniversary and continues to show consistent, profitable growth. The brand is committed to women’s empowerment in its designs, its message of self-expression “My LAGOS My Way”, and its commitment to nurturing female talent from within.

Windsor Jewelers: Building for Tomorrow with Wilkerson

After 43 years in the jewelry industry, Windsor Jewelers' President Rob Simon knows the value of trusted partnerships. When planning a store expansion in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he turned to Wilkerson to transform existing inventory into construction capital. "There have been very few companies I've dealt with that I totally trust," Simon shares. "Wilkerson understands their success is 100% based on your success." The partnership enabled Windsor to fund new showcases and construction while maintaining their position as their community's premier jeweler. For Simon, the choice was clear: "Over the years, I've been abused in every direction there is by different people in this industry, so I know what to avoid. One company not to avoid is Wilkerson."
