(PRESS RELEASE) Le Vian announces that it has won Industry Innovation of the Year award at the JNA Awards, which took place virtually on 27 October and was streamed live from Hong Kong.

Le Vian is the only American company to have been honored at the JNA Awards, and is both delighted and grateful at this enormous honor. Organized by Informa Markets, the prestigious JNA Awards recognize ‘innovation, excellence and achievement’ within the jewelry and gemstone industry. The world-leading jewelry retailer Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group is one of the Headline Partners for the awards. Esteemed judges included former CEO of Platinum Guild International, James Courage, and senior advisor to GIA India, Nirupa Bhatt. Other honorees at the event included De Beers Group in the Sustainability category while Tracr was awarded for Digital Innovation.

Le Vian CEO Eddie LeVian says: “Le Vian is deeply invested in innovation. Le Vian TV’s entertaining online shopping shows, our Style Bar which allows customers to reserve pieces on the spot from our comprehensive virtual vault of thousands of one-off pieces, and our appointment-only virtual trunk shows demonstrate how we consistently incorporate state-of-the-art technology into our sales strategies. Our omnichannel migration during the pandemic has increased appointment show-up rates from 50/50 a decade ago to nearly 100% today, with buyers making purchases in almost 100% of cases. Meanwhile our retail partner Signet has made mention of Le Vian on investor calls when reviewing the success of their own digital transformation. We are committed to paving the path for the future. On behalf of the LeVian family, we are thrilled that as a company which has been making jewelry for centuries and which has withstood the test of time, we are being recognized for our enduring commitment to innovation.”

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
