Lifetime Artist Edina Kiss Launches Fine Jewelry Collection

(PRESS RELEASE) MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Artist Edina Kiss recently launched an eponymous fine jewelry collection that pushes past the ordinary. A lifelong artist with a deeply seated affinity for fashion and luxury, Edina has always been drawn to the permanence of fine jewelry. This new endeavor feels like a homecoming for the designer, who is dedicated to creating wearable works of art that inspire daring expressions of individuality through sculptural silhouettes that are both refined and whimsically irreverent.

“Working with precious metals and gemstones allows me the freedom to fully showcase my creativity and my approach to self-expression through personal style,” the designer explains. “I hope to unlock through my work one’s connection to oneself, inviting my collectors to see the beauty in the simplicity of everyday life, to find comfort outside of one’s comfort zone.”

Edina creates serious jewelry for people who don’t take themselves too seriously. Working in 18k gold, each stone incorporated into the work, which includes gemstones like sapphires, tourmalines and aquamarine, as well as unexpected materials such as banded agate, have been hand-selected by the artist herself. From fresh interpretations on classic motifs to completely original concepts like her fully functioning Sunglasses pendants, Face Motif and Side Eyes, which all reflect her belief that the eyes are the window to the soul, her work is intricate yet effortless, just like the designer herself.

Designed in Manhattan Beach, California and impeccably crafted in New York City by a team of artisans who have a long history of working with some of the most seminal maisons in the world, Edina’s jewelry is infused with the laid back vibes of beach living and the sophisticated glamour of high society. Born in Budapest, her work is also a reflection of her lived experiences, the adventures she’s had throughout her international travels and the perspective she’s gained from a life lived well.

Bolstered by the guidance of industry veterans, Elizabeth “Beth Anne” Bonanno and Joel Cheatwood, Edina joins the ranks of The Gems Project’s venerable roster of brands. Following a December trunk show launch in June Simmons Jewelry in Sarasota, Florida, the Edina Kiss collection is already being carried in Marissa Collections in Naples, Florida. Edina will make her official, industry-wide debut at The COUTURE Show in Las Vegas at the end of May, where she will introduce new pieces that expand upon her core aesthetic while remaining true to the spirit of her creativity and her dedication to pushing the boundaries of the artform.
