Lika Behar Collection Partners with AICF for Giving Tuesday

(PRESS RELEASE) Lika Behar Collection enduring annual partnership with the American Italian Cancer Foundation continues this month as part of its Quarter of Giving! It remains its honor to sponsor the Mammogram Bus on the day of November 23, 2022, to provide no-cost mammograms to the underserved women of New York City’s five boroughs.

This year the bus will be located at the Damian Family Health Center (2604 Third Ave, in the Bronx) from 9am to 4:30pm. The hard-working team on board this bus are able to screen 40 women per day, who would otherwise go unscreened due to cost or being uninsured or underinsured. Lika is passionate about her support of this cause and shared that, “In this season of Thanks, this is my way of giving back for my continued good health.”

In addition to sponsoring the Mammogram Bus, it’s continuing its partnership with CityMeals on Wheels. This holiday season they are continuing to pay it forward by donating to help feed the frail homebound elderly of New York City, in honor of every one of its customers.

In partnership with the American Italian Cancer Foundation, this year on November 23 from 9 AM to 4:30 PM the “Mammogram Bus” will be at Damian Family Health Center, (2604 Third Ave in Bronx, NY) all day.

Four Decades of Excellence: How Wilkerson Transformed a Jeweler's Retirement into Celebration

After 45 years serving the Milwaukee community, Treiber & Straub Jewelers owner Michael Straub faced a significant life transition. At 75, the veteran jeweler made a personal decision many business owners understand: "I think it's time. I want to enjoy my wife with my grandchildren for the next 10, 15 years." Wilkerson's expertise transformed this major business transition into an extraordinary success. Their comprehensive approach to managing the going-out-of-business sale created unprecedented customer response—with lines forming outside the store and limits on how many shoppers could enter at once due to fire safety regulations. The results exceeded all expectations. "Wilkerson did a phenomenal job," Straub enthuses. "They were there for you through the whole thing, helped you with promoting it, helping you on day-to-day business. I can't speak enough for how well they did." The partnership didn't just facilitate a business closing; it created a celebratory finale to decades of service while allowing Straub to confidently step into his well-earned retirement.
