MUMBAI-RAISED, ANTWERP-based Priyanka Mehta, the face behind Nue Fine Jewelry, has once again worked with Emily in Paris costume designer Marilyn Fitoussi on Season 4, Part 1, which launched on Aug. 15 with five episodes and will return with Part 2 on Sept. 12. I wrote about Nue Jewelry’s role in Season 3 of the series on Forbesonline.com with a nod to how Fitoussi, like Patricia Field in the original HBO series Sex and the City, gave equal screentime to up-and-coming jewelry designers. And Nue was one of them for EIP.

Mehta explained, “We continued our work with the EIP team for this season’s episodes when Marylin reached out to us. She chose 18 new pieces from us and two were repeated from last season. We also made four custom pieces but they will appear in Part 2.” In the meantime, Nue Jewelry appeared in four of the season’s episodes. I faithfully binge watched all five in the middle of the night.

While the fashion was truly part of the character development for Collins’s character, Emily Cooper, and gave a nod to everyone from Twiggy during London’s Swinging Sixties to the socialites at Truman Capote’s Black and White Ball to Audrey Hepburn’s iconic roles, particularly in the film Charade, the jewelry is much more everyday-wearable and is sure to develop into sales or trends in more delicate rings, necklaces and earrings.

In Episode 1, Collins as Emily was dressed colorfully and wore pink gold and pink diamond dainty rings and delicate pendant necklace.

In Episode 2, she wore still delicate yet somewhat bolder Nue Jewelry in yellow gold with diamonds.

There was more jewelry in the series by different designers, and when the series returns in September, we can visit the other styles from Nue and from other brands on all of the female characters. But for now, check out Nue Jewelry’s website, where the jewelry is versatile and chic and can be part of your daily rotation.
