INSTORE’S LONGTIME COLUMNIST is retiring, but he has a successor

David and Renie Geller are retiring!

You heard it right: We are retired as of January 1st. But not to fret. My nephew Jonathan Geller is taking over the Geller Blue Book starting this month. He and his wife, Kelsey, along with Jonathan’s sister, Arielle, will be taking your orders, shipping, helping, etc. I’ve been training Jonathan all year in the Geller pricing system, and we should have a new edition ready this month.

Jonathan also is the CEO of my brother’s three stores here in Atlanta. His wife Kelsey, who you’ll probably speak to, is a bench jeweler. Jonathan met Kelsey and married her while she was working in my brother’s store.

Many of you have spoken to my wife Renie when ordering the Geller Book and updates. She will now be 100% retired. You go, girl!

I will still be helping stores with QuickBooks through most of 2025, so if you need year-end help with QuickBooks, you can still contact me directly.

For information on ordering the Geller Blue Book, you can visit gellerbluebook.com, call (404) 255-9565 or reach Jonathan at jonathan@gellerbluebook.com.

If you’d like to reach me for help with QuickBooks, email me at david@jewelerprofit.com or call (404) 255-2543.

I assure you, I’ll be helping Jonathan along the way for a smooth transition. I’ll continue to write a few more articles for INSTORE and then turn the reigns over to Jonathan as well.

I am looking for someone I have trained in QuickBooks desktop and especially how it exports to QuickBooks to take over my QuickBooks consulting business. If you are a bookkeeper who feels confident in the way I have setup QuickBooks and you know The Edge very well, contact me. You can greatly increase your income and work from home.

My brother and I are 14th generation jewelers, and now the 15th generation is taking over. Both Renie and I have enjoyed our time in the jewelry industry helping jewelers to make more money. I know it will continue with Jonathan and his clan.
