SOME JEWELRY CRITICS would disagree, but to me, sometimes one stunning jewel is all you need to enchant and create an effortless yet glamorous statement. It was certainly the case when actress Monica Barbaro stepped out in an intricate lace strapless gown with long bell sleeves that was timelessly chic and fit her like a glove. And while I loved this gown on her, my eyes immediately went to her Bulgari earrings. Although they were sometimes covered by her long flowing hair, I saw peeks of pink and red and finally was able to see the Bulgari earrings in full view. The elevated candy-colored drops in a sophisticated silhouette of a fan shape were all she needed to shine and steal the earring moments of the evening. The whole look was perfection.

Although her strapless dress with a plunging neckline might have called for a necklace, sometimes less is more and allows a woman’s natural beauty to shine through. This was just such a case.

The Bulgari earrings were the renowned house’s High Jewelry Divas’ Dream earrings in pink gold with two cabochon rubellites, two  round diamonds, 42 buff-top rubies and pavé-set diamonds.

Four Decades of Excellence: How Wilkerson Transformed a Jeweler's Retirement into Celebration

After 45 years serving the Milwaukee community, Treiber & Straub Jewelers owner Michael Straub faced a significant life transition. At 75, the veteran jeweler made a personal decision many business owners understand: "I think it's time. I want to enjoy my wife with my grandchildren for the next 10, 15 years." Wilkerson's expertise transformed this major business transition into an extraordinary success. Their comprehensive approach to managing the going-out-of-business sale created unprecedented customer response—with lines forming outside the store and limits on how many shoppers could enter at once due to fire safety regulations. The results exceeded all expectations. "Wilkerson did a phenomenal job," Straub enthuses. "They were there for you through the whole thing, helped you with promoting it, helping you on day-to-day business. I can't speak enough for how well they did." The partnership didn't just facilitate a business closing; it created a celebratory finale to decades of service while allowing Straub to confidently step into his well-earned retirement.
