NAOMI WATTS ALWAYS looks elegant and chic, and she wears some serious jewelry at the various awards events. The Prada black gown that she wore to this year’s Critics Choice Awards had a modern feel with its square-cut top and hip detail, but it also provided the perfect backdrop for the mixing of vintage and new Tiffany & Co. pieces. The combination of period styles has become an overriding theme at this year’s award presentations, antique/vintage fairs and what women are wearing every day.

But let’s get back to Watts. For this event, she wore a pair of Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock 18K yellow gold earrings with diamonds and rubies, based on the visionary designer’s original brooch designed in 1965. My favorite piece she wore was on her wrist: a Tiffany & Co. Archives bracelet in gold and platinum with diamonds (1939-1945). It speaks to the Retro Period’s most popular looks and is also in keeping with the trend toward cuffs and bangles we are seeing today. The look was completed with a Tiffany & Co. platinum ring with a five-plus-carat diamond with diamond accents. The yellow gold earrings/bracelet and platinum ring combination also speaks to the current and evolving mixed metal trend.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
