(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — The upcoming JA New York Spring Show, taking place March 16-18 at the Jacob Javits Center, provides members of the jewelry trade with a comprehensive marketplace serving the needs of all facets of the industry. With an incredible selection of exhibiting designers, manufacturers and brands, the introduction of a new “MJSA Showcase” pavilion featuring the latest jewelry-making tools, equipment, supplies and services, and a newly minted partnership with Piazza Italia, the event is a one-stop-shop for anyone invested in buying, selling, making or promoting fine jewelry. The Spring event is being enhanced by engaging education sessions and live demonstrations organized in collaboration with MJSA, which will offer attendees and exhibitors alike an interactive experience that will benefit their businesses. A complete list of education and live demos can be found here.

“We’re really excited to welcome long-time attendees and new to our upcoming Spring event,” enthused Matthew Tratner, Group Show Director for JA New York. “We are always focused on providing solutions for the nuanced needs of this industry. Coupled with the wide range of product offerings available on our show floor, the important new partnerships with MJSA and Piazza Italia can help to strengthen the vitality of the entire fine jewelry ecosystem.”

“MJSA and JA New York are working to ensure the best experience possible for both buyers and exhibitors, many of whom have told us how much they appreciated the co-location and the expanded connections that brought,” says MJSA President/CEO David Cochran. “Our exhibitors have emphasized they want to be where the buyers are, and being on the JA New York floor, which will now offer even broader appeal, optimizes the opportunities for buyers and sellers to connect. We look forward to working with the JA team to create an even more robust experience in one of the world’s most vital jewelry markets.”

In addition to the international brands represented by the Hong Kong and NCA Pavilions, Piazza Italia will join prestigious brands from both the U.S. and abroad in the Premier area of the show, offering attendees the ability to source global products within the convenience of the Javits Center.

“Piazza Italia is a membership organization with a mission of helping Italian companies grow their businesses in America,” explains Piazza Italia co-founder, Dennis Ulrich. “JA New York has a proven track record of creating a vibrant environment that caters to motivated, qualified buyers and we feel strongly that our members will uniquely benefit from exhibiting in our newly formed pavilion. These events will become a primary focus of the complimentary trade show participation that we offer to our Park Luxury Concierge status members and is a major addition to our existing roster of regional partners.”

“The operating premise of Piazza Italia is ‘Stronger Together,’” notes Piazza Italia Partner, Marco Giovanelli. “We are consistently and thoughtfully analyzing the marketplace in order to build strategies and platforms that enable each of our members to grow their business sustainably, efficiently and cost-effectively. JA New York’s audience and its status as a thriving epicenter of the industry provide an exciting opportunity to our members for expansion and visibility in the U.S. market.”

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
