NICOLE KIDMAN HAS LONG been a style setter at red carpet events. She has worn a variety of renowned jewelry brands throughout the years and is often on the “best dressed” lists at the awards shows. For the 2025 Golden Globes, Kidman’s stylist Jason Bolden dressed the Babygirl actress in a silver backless Balenciaga gown, which she wore with effortless chic. The gown and her hair spoke to the styles of London’s swinging ’60s, while her Boucheron high jewelry echoed the historical company’s modern collection and her diamond Omega watch evoked the best of the Art Deco period. Kidman pulled it all off with her usual statuesque elegance. Her look spoke to the trend so prevalent in the jewelry and fashion industries: that mixing time periods offers a cool girl vibe.

Kidman’s Boucheron Lierre de Paris High Jewelry earrings in white gold featured diamonds and tanzanite pendants, dipping down into linear drops with movement. The Vendôme Liserè High Jewelry ring with central diamond, accented with diamonds in white gold, was also accented with black lacquer. The Omega diamond watch on black band was my favorite piece she wore, but I couldn’t find any report that said whether it was lent to her or if it was her own. She has worn antique and vintage jewelry many times, but the watch is also a direction we are seeing on both women and men as standout pieces on the red carpet.

Retiring? Let Wilkerson Do the Heavy Lifting

Retirement can be a great part of life. As Nanji Singadia puts it, “I want to retire and enjoy my life. I’m 78 now and I just want to take a break.” That said, Nanji decided that the best way to move ahead was to contact the experts at Wilkerson. He chose them because he knew that closing a store is a heavy lift. To maximize sales and move on to the next, best chapter of his life, he called Wilkerson—but not before asking his industry friends for their opinion. He found that Wilkerson was the company most recommended and says their professionalism, experience and the homework they did before the launch all helped to make his going out of business sale a success. “Wilkerson were working on the sale a month it took place,” he says. “They did a great job.”
