Olivia Munn Dazzles at Vanity Fair Oscar Party

WHILE THE OSCARS are always the finale of awards season, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party always hosts some incredible jewels that haven’t been spotlighted on the red carpet. And the pieces often offer a departure from the major houses, as in the jaw-dropping necklace that Oliva Munn wore. It highlighted the trend for diamond statement necklaces that we saw throughout the season, and it was a stunning piece from MARLI New York’s Lady Liberty high jewelry suite.

Munn looked dazzling in a white strapless gown, and this necklace was inspired by the Statue of Liberty for the Manhattan-based company’s 10-year anniversary.

Although I focused on Munn’s choker, with geometric pattern of diamonds that combined various cuts, the suite that the actress wore also included earrings and rings and totaled more than 52-carats of diamonds.

The trend for diamond statement necklaces continues, and I am certain we will see more coming out of the smaller houses and design studios as we head toward the Las Vegas shows.
