(PRESS RELEASE) LAS VEGAS, NV — Joy and excitement resonated throughout the Wynn Las Vegas as prominent retailers, influential media and exceptional designers and brands gathered for the 2022 event. An enthusiasm to reunite in person was apparent and the shared appreciation for excellence in design and craftsmanship established a celebratory reunion among this tight-knit community.

“It feels fantastic to be back at the Wynn Las Vegas,” enthused Gannon Brousseau, COUTURE director and EVP, Emerald. “Our new event space is a phenomenal backdrop for the exceptional collections of our talented designers and brands and having the opportunity to enjoy one another’s company in person is invaluable.”

Mimicking that sentiment was Yael Reinhold from Reinhold Jewelers in Puerto Rico, “The show has such positive energy! Everyone is so happy to be back and really eager to buy! I am seeing so much incredible jewelry; I’m delighted to be here.”

“COUTURE is the highlight of our year,” said Peggy Buckhan of Steve Quick Jeweler in Chicago. “I love seeing all of the designers we carry and getting a first look at their most recent collections. It’s also so fun discovering new talent. And as always, COUTURE is fabulous, everything is amazing.”

The salons, ballrooms and villas saw steady traffic throughout the day and the exhibiting designers and brands were excited that the retailers they were meeting with were motivated to place orders. “It’s been absolutely phenomenal,” explained Wendy Adeler Hall of Jorge Adeler. “We’re seeing so many great stores and there’s a lot of intentional buying. There’s so much great energy and people are serious about restocking and getting back to business.”

“We have been busy all day, it’s been so amazing,” said Meredith Young, an exhibitor in the event’s Design Atelier. “I’m so excited for the rest of the show!”

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
