Five Fresh Jewelry Designs for November

The Ourika collection takes POLLY WALES’ signature “cast, not set” style to a whole new level, maintaining the wild, eclectic patterns that fans of the brand already love and adding in symmetrical details inspired by the mysticism and artistic traditions of nomadic desert tribes. The result is an irresistible mix of chaos and order embodied in bright gemstones and rich yellow gold.

18K gold with sapphires (3.70 TCW), baguette diamonds (0.25 TCW), and moonstones (2.80 TCW) MSRP: $10,900

The delectable designs of DELPHINE LEYMARIE’s new Bohème collection are a perfect example of the best that alternative bridal has to offer. The collection, with its delightful textures and unexpected colors, offers consumers many of the hallmarks of traditional bridal jewelry in an incarnation that is truly fresh. Too fabulous to offer only to fiancées, these bohemian beauties are sure to appeal to quirky color lovers of all sorts.

Reclaimed 18K rose gold and 1.48-ct. pink tourmaline MSRP: $2,297

The ALEX WOO Little Elements collection takes the wildly successful charm of Alex Woo’s existing collections and distills the design down to geometric elements: a square, a triangle, a hexagon, a chevron. The pieces are available in sterling silver, yellow gold, and white gold, with diamonds or without; price points starting under $150 mean this collection has something for everyone. Refreshing simplicity, beautifully rendered.

14K white gold with diamonds MSRP: $1,098

The Mosaic collection from GUMUCHIAN offers the brand’s trademark combination of elegance and strength in designs featuring carved mosaic tiles in soft hues with floral gold and diamond embellishments. The collection is inspired by designer Patricia Gumuchian’s visit to Ravenna, Italy — she sought to capture the feeling of being surrounded by timeless beauty in a faraway land.

18K yellow gold with crystal, mother of pearl, mosaic tile, and diamonds (0.19 TCW) MSRP: $6,000

ANZIE’s ethereal designs take on a darkly romantic bent in this new collection, characterized by the use of Silver Noir, or black rhodium-plated sterling silver. Paired with black spinel, dreamy moonstone and white and blue topaz, the darker metal brings extra edge and depth to these easy-to-love designs. Perfect for pairing with colder weather but still translatable to spring once the calendar rolls back around.

Black rhodium-plated sterling silver with topaz and sapphire MSRP: $750

Wilkerson Testimonials

Downsizing? Wilkerson Is Here to Help

Orin Mazzoni, Jr., the owner of Orin Jewelers in Garden City and Northville, Michigan, decided it was time to downsize. With two locations and an eye on the future, Mazzoni asked Wilkerson to take the lead on closing the Garden City store. Mazzoni met Wilkerson’s Rick Hayes some years back, he says, and once he made up his mind to consolidate, he and Hayes “set up a timeline” for the sale. Despite the pandemic, Mazzoni says the everything went smoothly. “Many days, we had lines of people waiting to get in,” he says, adding that Wilkerson’s professionalism made it all worthwhile. “Whenever you do an event like this, you think, ‘I’ve been doing this my whole life. Do I really need to pay someone to do it for me?’ But then I realized, these guys are the pros and we need to move forward with them.”
