(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — Platinum Guild International USA (PGI USA) has released its Platinum Holiday Gift Guide for 2025, offering retailers a curated selection of new platinum jewelry designs for the season. Created to inspire shoppers and support retailers during the busiest time of the year, the guide highlights pieces that bring fresh interest, strong craftsmanship, and meaningful storytelling to holiday assortments.

“Our holiday gift guide presents platinum jewelry as a beautiful, lasting choice for every meaningful moment. It’s a simple way to bring platinum’s strength, rarity, and emotional value to the forefront during the season when people are looking for gifts that truly endure,” said Jenny Luker, President, Platinum Guild International (USA) Jewelry Inc.

PGI chose to release the Gift Guide this year in response to clear shifts in the market. With gold prices at record highs, many retailers are exploring alternative precious metals that offer strong value and durability. Platinum fits that need and gives stores a compelling point of differentiation. At the same time, independent designers are embracing the metal in new ways, creating pieces that feel modern, expressive, and distinctly giftable. Retailers are also seeing increasing interest in platinum outside of bridal, opening the door to new sales opportunities throughout the season.

“Our mission is straightforward. We’re here to support the growth of platinum jewelry in the U.S.,” Luker added. “This guide gives retailers an easy, ready-to-use resource to showcase new designs and spark interest with customers.”

This year’s Gift Guide features 10 designers and brands whose work highlights the creativity and craftsmanship of platinum: Featherstone, Chris Correia, Ritani, Saskia Shutt, Susanne Siegel, Harwell Godfrey, Jade Ruzzo, Retrouvaí, Kwiat, and Suna. In total, 23 new pieces are included, each selected for its design quality, seasonal relevance, and commercial appeal.

The assortment spans a broad range of price points, beginning at $619.99 for Ritani’s solitaire pear-shaped lab-grown diamond stud earrings, and going up to $160,000 for Featherstone’s Ode to Emer Platinum Cocktail Ring featuring a Lightning Ridge Australian opal surrounded by diamonds and handmade in NYC. This range allows retailers to tell a complete platinum story, from accessible gifting to standout high-jewelry statements.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
