(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Platinum Guild International USA announces the appointment of award-winning marketer and communications expert Rebecca Moskal as Vice President of Marketing for the trade organization, effective immediately. Ms. Moskal will be responsible for establishing and implementing PGI USA’s marketing and communications strategies and initiatives, as well as those for affordable luxury jewelry brand, Platinum Born.

Ms. Moskal brings more than twenty years of jewelry marketing experience to her new tenure, having served in marketing and communication roles at famed jewelry houses Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, David Yurman and Beaudry, before establishing her own communications agency, Communiqué, in 2009. For the past decade-plus, Ms. Moskal and her team have worked with notable clients such as JCK Events, Bedat & Co., Robert Procop, ALOR and Miseno. A long-time member of the Women’s Jewelry Association, Ms. Moskal served as Vice President of the Los Angeles chapter, as well as Corporate Secretary on the International Board of Directors.

“Rebecca has been a longtime consultant to and friend of PGI USA and we are elated to now have her bring her unparallel knowledge and expertise to our organization in a greater capacity,” shared PGI USA’s president Jenny Luker. “It is a very exciting time for PGI USA, with several new initiatives in development, and Rebecca will be a valuable addition to propel PGI USA to new heights.”

Moving Up — Not Out — with Wilkerson

Trish Parks has always wanted to be in the jewelry business and that passion has fueled her success. The original Corinth Jewelers opened in the Mississippi town of the same name in 2007. This year, Parks moved her business from its original strip mall location to a 10,000-square foot standalone store. To make room for fresh, new merchandise, she asked Wilkerson to organize a moving sale. “What I remember most about the sale is the outpouring excitement and appreciation from our customers,” says Parks. Would she recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers? “I would recommend Wilkerson because they came in, did what they were supposed to and made us all comfortable. And we met our goals.”
