Ruth Negga created an Oscar moment wearing an Irene Neuwirth x Gemfields tiara crafted out of Mozambique rubies, and models strode down the Fall 2017/18 catwalks in all shades from tomato to crimson. Jewelry designers are also seeing red, predominantly in rubies as well as rubellite, red spinel and rhodolite garnet in rough-hewn and alternative cuts as well as cabochon and polished looks.
