Registration Is Open for the Sept. 8-11 HardRock Summit

(PRESS RELEASE)DENVER, CO — Registration is officially open for the HardRock Summit here.

The HardRock Summit is a new event dedicated to fine jewelry, gems, minerals and fossils, taking place from September 8 – 11, 2022 at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. The four-day trade show will provide an opportunity for attendees to connect, discover, learn and do business with trade professionals and the general public.

The HardRock Summit is anticipating a strong second edition and expanded offering with over 450 exhibiting companies and more than 310,000-square feet of show floor, exhibits, highly engaging activations and education space.

All under one roof, the HardRock Summit will feature multiple main exhibitor areas:

  • Evolution for fine minerals and fossils in the Four Seasons Ballroom
  • Sparkle & Joy for fine gemstones and jewelry in cooperation with AGTA GemFair Denver, just recently confirmed ICA and IBGM as well as a German Pavilion
  • Denver Gem & Mineral Show in the 200 block meeting rooms
  • LLD Denver Mineral Hall in the 100 block meeting rooms

“We are excited to offer such a comprehensive roster of exhibiting companies in one large venue to be the destination for peer-to-peer connections to drive businesses forward and also the place for the general public and families to experience fine jewelry, gemstone and mineral companies first-hand,” states Christoph Keilmann, co-founder of HardRock Summit.

The HardRock Summit is happy to welcome International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) and Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (IBGM) to the fair in addition to AGTA
GemFair Denver.

“After the success and excitement of last year, HardRock’s debut show, the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) is thrilled to become part of the event,” says Doug Hucker, ICA CEO. “The prominent international vibe of the show makes ICA a perfect fit for HardRock. For years, retailers and manufacturers have wanted a quality Fall show and HardRock fills that void to perfection.”

“Through our “Precious Brazil” project, IBGM is proud to sponsor Brazilian brands in the HardRock Summit in 2022. We are excited to showcase all the beauty and excellence of Brazilian gemstones in this important global event,” states Clarissa Maciel, project manager for IBGM – Brazilian Gems and Jewellery Trade Association.

Visitor admission is free for qualified trade show professionals and buyers. A ticket admission fee of $10 will be required for the general public, which will have access to the full show floor except for the AGTA GemFair Denver. The ticket shop will be open on July 5. The different types of attendees – from trade professionals to the general public – will be easily distinguishable through color-coded badges.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
