WHEN YOU THINK about Bad Gal Riri, you don’t normally think of her wearing pearls. But on two recent occasions, she wore them to great effect, making vintage pieces look modern and also making them part of her personal style in a way that only Rihanna can.

During New York Fashion Week, she wore a pair of vintage diamond and pearl drop earrings that were just the right length with her hair down and curly — a white mesh wrap and a  large Briony Raymond vintage pearl and  diamond rings on her finger, circa 1970s.

Then, to attend A$AP Rocky’s birthday party in NYC, she wore a For Future Reference Vintage choker in 18K yellow gold, featuring  6.55 TCW of diamonds surrounded a large center pearl, circa 1980s. She wore this in usual Rihanna style with graduated layers of Marie Lichtenberg pendants — the Check Ruby Scapular on Rosa Classic Chain and You Are the One Scapular, with a black dress, hair down and straight, once again creating her iconic cool girl look.

If you still think pearls are too prim for you to wear even after they have been shown in multiple contemporary variations and unique vintage combinations, then take a page from Riri’s book and wear them with abandon.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
