Ring Concierge Set to Open First Flagship Retail Location in New York City

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Ring Concierge, the direct-to-consumer luxury jeweler will be opening its first retail store on November 13th in New York City’s West Village. Founded in 2013 by Nicole Wegman, Ring Concierge has been a leader in the bespoke engagement ring and fine jewelry industry, offering customers a convenient and easier way to purchase their most meaningful pieces.

The store located at 400 Bleecker Street will feature, for the first time ever, the brand’s assortment of fine jewelry, as well as an opportunity to try on some of its most sought-after engagement rings. With a variety of in-store activations, experiences and events, clients will be able to bring its favorite Instagram jewelry brand to life by trying on the most coveted pieces in person.

“With the world opening up again, we are all craving in-person experiences, including those that bring us back into beautiful retail environments. Ring Concierge launched eight years ago with the mission to transform the typically impersonal and expensive process for buying wedding rings and fine jewelry. We have created a loyal online community and are excited to now bring them into our first ever immersive retail experience, located in NYC, the home of Ring Concierge,” said Nicole Wegman, Founder and CEO.

With an industry typically viewed as male-dominated, Wegman decided to tackle it head-on and self-funded. With a meaningful understanding of what women are looking for—in both style and experience—she has built a business that has grown 2x year over year since launch, and is breaking through barriers to change the way people shop for one of its most monumental moments in life. By strategically utilizing social media and influencer marketing, Ring Concierge has quickly scaled into a successful e-commerce business and private jeweler accessible to the masses. For the first time ever, customers will be able to experience all three aspects of the brand in person at its first brick and mortar location.

The Ring Concierge retail location will be following city and state COVID-19 guidelines. All jewelry will be sanitized in between fittings. Store hours will be 11AM-7PM, Monday to Saturday; and 12PM-6PM, Sunday. For more information, visit: ringconcierge.com.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
